Sunn O))) records…why do you have to be so expensive?
I have the sudden urge to buy a bunch of doom metal on record. Must resist.

I wish tumblr let people send longer questions/messages like we used to be able to. Oh well, I guess.
I already miss fall. It went too quick this year. Today I ate a pumpkin cupcake at the burrito place because dammit I just want as much fall as possible right now. And they had this fantastic special “Halloween sauce” for their burritos today, which was made of ghost peppers and habaneros and oh man was it good.
I got my box of Preacher comics today and now I feel like a giant nerd. I also got the Andrew Jackson Jihad shirt my friend Steve mailed me, the 3-disc Oldboy set I ordered, and the An Albatross Freedom Summer Live record I ordered for my brother. It’s hand-numbered 132/136. I am excited to surprise him with it.
I’m pretty sure I’m just waiting on the new Direct Hit! and Signal...

Saturday night, nothing to do, snowing like crazy, blahblahblah. Anyone want to talk or something?
Bwahhhhh they don’t need to hire anyone right this instant, but soon. They said my resume was great and they’ll give me a call as soon as they decide to hire someone. Dammit I just wanted to give my two weeks’ notice tomorrow.

This guy’s beard is intense.
Gonna start watching Fringe because Sean let me borrow the first season and I’ve heard good things. I’m sure this rum will help make it even better.
Albums of Seasons
It seems like with every season change, the albums I’m obsessed with change.
This summer:
Bomb the Music Industry!’s Vacation
Andrew Jackson Jihad’s Knife Man
Converge’s Axe to Fall
Ramshackle Glory’s Live the Dream
This fall:
Sister City’s Carbon Footprint
Direct Hit!’s Domesplitter
and most recently, my love for The Wild’s Set Ourselves...
The snow has started. Not sure what to think about this.

BUT NONE OF THE MONEY WE SPEND SEEMS TO DO US MUCH GOOD IN THE END, I’VE GOT A CRACKED ENGINE BLOCK- BOTH OF US DO.YEAH THE HOUSE AND THE JEWELS AND THE ITALIAN RACE CAR, THEY DON’T MAKE US FEEL BETTER ABOUT WHO WE ARE, I GOT TERMITES IN THE FRAMEWORK- SO DO YOU.
I haven’t even clocked in yet and work is already incredibly awkward.
I’m laying in bed and listening to The Wild and I can feel my heart beating hard in my chest and my eyes hurt and I’m supposed to wake up in less than five hours. I’m glad to be alive.

Thought about doing that myself. Not sure if I’m real keen on being forced to write though. I write for the love of it. Could be fun though….
Yeah I like writing for the fun of it, but haven’t written much lately and maybe forcing myself to write will kickstart my writing again. That’s...

Oh dammit I just realised NaNoWriMo starts in just a few days. I don’t know if I’m going to do it this year, I need to recover my last one from my dead laptop and, you know, finish it.

– an excerpt from a Pitchfork review for an upcoming album (via zooeydoodooschanel)
What the hell kind of review is this? Worst metaphors and similes I’ve read recently. Pitchfork, you are the worst. “Soft like something soft on my palate”…hahahaha, wow.
This iced coffee is not helping much.
